My Review: The wine was earthy, and because of that I did not like it a lot at first. However, pairing it with food, I feel the wine became more fruity. 

With Food: I had the wine with lamb. Pairing the wine with food changed the wine from earthy to fruity.

I couldn't really explain it well, but I could taste a little bit of vanilla.  With Food: I had the wine with beef, I like it better just the wine by itself. The beef was too strong for the wine, since the wine is a bit lighter.
